After admission, the student must provide a letter from their campus Office of Accessibility (or Student Disability Office) detailing the accommodation(s) needed. See BMCC’s Office of Accessibility
- If a program cannot meet a student’s needs, BMCC Study Abroad will try to help the student find an alternate study abroad program. BMCC is committed to providing equal access to all programs and curricula to all students, but as a result of the absence of an equivalent law as the ADA (American with Disabilities Act of 1990), students with disabilities may not be able to find proper accommodations and facilities at the host institution, residence or hotel used by a study abroad program in the country to be visited.
