Office of Accessibility

Information and resources for Fall 2020 are available on the Reimagining BMCC webpage.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Office of Accessibility staff are working remotely. If students, faculty, or staff have questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at accessibility@bmcc.cuny.edu. For your convenience, here is a list of Office of Accessibility Contacts (pdf) as well as a list of available technical support (pdf).

The Office of Accessibility collaborates with and empowers students who have disabilities in order to coordinate support services, reasonable accommodations and programs that enable equal access to education and college life.

The Office of Accessibility serves as a resource to faculty and staff and works to provide regular training opportunities, advisement, and consultation on equal access, compliance, delivery of equitable services, universal design and other disability-related issues.

The Office of Accessibility provides opportunities and resources that will facilitate the development of self-advocacy, self-efficacy and adaptive skills in students to overcome barriers a disability may present.
