The Non-Degree Application is for students who want to take one or two classes without committing to an entire degree program. Non-degree status is granted on a semester basis, so please be aware that you will need to complete the non-degree application each semester you wish to take non-degree coursework at BMCC. CSin7 for 6-12 grade Teachers
This is a tuition-free 7-credit sequence of 2 courses appropriate for 6-12 grade Teachers. It provides teachers with an opportunity to develop their technical, pedagogical, and content knowledge as well as pursue state certification in CS education.
CITE CSin8 for PreK-6th grade Teachers
This is a tuition-free 8-credit sequence of 2 courses appropriate for PreK-6th grade Teachers. It provides teachers with an opportunity to develop their technical, pedagogical, and content knowledge in computing education for early childhood and childhood education settings.
The Readmit Application is for students who attended BMCC in the past, took one or more semesters off, and want to come back to continue their program. More about Readmission

Track Your Application
You can check your application status at any time online. Use CUNY’s tracking tool, CUNYfirst, to review details of your application, see if your transcripts were received, and look out for that admissions decision.
CUNYfirst Portal
After you submit your online application, CUNY will email you with instructions for creating or “claiming” a CUNYfirst account. Once you have successfully created an account in CUNYfirst and logged in, you will be able to view details about your application, registration, and financial aid.
