BMCC has several programs for high school students. You will be able to begin your college experience before you graduate high school. Here are some options.

College Now

College Now allows highs school students to take courses at BMCC free of charge. This program includes tutoring and cultural activities. More than 700 NYC high school students take advantage of BMCC’s College Now program each year.

Manhattan Early College School for Advertising (MECA)

The Manhattan Early College School for Advertising (MECA) allows high school students to begin taking courses at BMCC free of charge and over the next 6 years finish high school and earn an associate’s degree. This program specializes in art and technology and prepares students for advertising and media careers and/or further education.

Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP)

The Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) gives high school students an additional background in STEM subjects such as science, technology, engineering and math.

Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC)

The Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC) gives those who haven’t finished high school a chance to get their high school equivalency degree and improve their skills in areas such as technology, English language and career preparation.
