Now that you have your F-1 visa, it’s time to plan your trip and prepare for your time in the U.S.

Complete pre-registration requirements for all new students by referring to the After You Are Admitted Checklist.

• Attend an International Student Orientation Session (required)
  International Student Orientation covers information specific to F-1 international students (immigration/compliance).

  Register for an International Student Orientation.

  Attending International Student Orientation is mandatory for all new BMCC F-1 students. We will be covering topics specifically for F-1 international students, including important immigration information. Orientation will be two days. Plan to be available virtually for immigration reporting and in-person for the full program. You must attend both components. Immigration reporting is required in order for the International Students Support Organization (ISSO) to report your arrival in the SEVIS system.
