Check the Federal Direct Loan Borrowing Chart for the maximum annual and aggregate amounts you may borrow in unsubsidized loan funds.
If you are a dependent student whose parents are unable to get a Direct PLUS Loan, you may be eligible for the independent student loan maximums listed in the chart and should speak with a financial aid counselor.
Using your FSA ID, you may access your previous borrowing history from the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) and monitor how close you may be approaching your undergraduate aggregate maximum.
