Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Scholarship Workshops:
The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education is for outstanding students aiming to pursue research careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering. The scholarship awards up to $7,500.00 per year towards tuition. This workshop will offer students detailed information and valuable tips on preparing and submitting a competitive application.
The next workshop will be held in the fall 2025 semester.
Kaplan Leadership Foundation Scholarship Information Session/Workshops:
This workshop is for students interested in becoming a Kaplan Educational Foundation Scholar. The Kaplan program is a unique program that offers annual scholarships, living stipends and transfer admissions support in addition to leadership training and development for associate’s degree candidates in the NYC area. Accepted students will participate in the program through the completion of their associate’s degrees, during the transfer to and through completion of a Bachelor’s degree. Below are the basic eligibility criteria
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Completed 24 of 35 non-remedial credits by the end of your current Spring semester.
- Graduating with an associate’s degree either December 2025 or Spring 2026.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Qualify for federal financial aid.
