Gender Based Violence Support

Resources, support and confidentiality

The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) provides campus wide educational programs and resources in the fight against sexual assault, sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking and other aspects of gender based violence.

Our office has two full-time confidential staff members who can act as resources to students who need initial support in these areas. They can refer or connect students, to both on and off campus resources that will provide appropriate personal/crisis counseling, resources and support. The confidential staff are not mandated to report allegations if a student requests to keep them confidential. If a student does wish to file a complaint, the confidential staff members will connect the student with The Office of Compliance and Diversity.

The Office of Compliance and Diversity has launched an online complaint form where students, employees, and others can file a complaint of unlawful discrimination or harassment online with our office.

Please note, the WRC does not provide crisis or personal counseling including counseling related to sexual assault, sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking or other aspects of gender based violence.
