In-Person Yoga

We are also offering some in-person yoga classes on Tuesdays from 2-2:45 p.m. in Room N-471.

These 45 minute Exhale to Inhale Classes will offer time to check-in with your stress levels, connect with your body, and make movement-based choices.

No experience is necessary–just wear some comfortable clothing.

Healing Rhythms 

Come join your BMCC community in a drumming circle with Baba Atiba who will show us the power of the drum. No experience needed. No registration needed. Just show up with an open mind!
Wednesdays beginning February 14,  1:30-3 p.m. in the Student Cafeteria at 199 Chambers St.


Healing Through Hip Hop 

BRING IN THE NOISE, BRING IN THE FUN with live performances, freestyle cyphers, and a safe space to unleash your creativity through the healing power of rhythm and rhyme. Connect with peers in deep, engaging conversations. Learn how to use music and spoken word to reduce anxiety and improve social skills. Stress-O-Meter

Are you curious about your level of stress and how you can measure it? Come learn a simple way of measuring your heart rate and your stress level and learn the magic of focused breathing and other strategies to manage your stress. April 17, 4-5 p.m. in Richard Harris Terrace.

We’ve got you covered! Join us in exercising your creative voice, tapping into your calm, and more! Take a pause and come have some fun.

Mindful Calm: Navigating Stress with Awareness

Navigate stress with ease at our Zoom workshop during the De-Stress Fest. Come learn essential mindfulness skills to boost awareness and resilience. Sign up for an empowering session where you will leave having embraced a calmer, more present you.

Chill and Thrive

Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
