Center for Career Development

The Center for Career Development is here to help BMCC students prepare for future jobs and internships. We will work with you to make sure you have all the tools and information you need to be successful.

7 Steps to Success

We developed 7 Steps to Success to guide you through the preparation needed to search for a job or internship. Our advisors will work with you to develop a good resume, learn interviewing techniques and present yourself in the best way possible to prospective employers.

Are you wondering what careers you can explore with a degree or certificate? Career Coach is designed to help students find relevant local wage and employment data, education opportunities tied to their career paths, and live job postings. Students can also complete a career assessment for additional guidance and self-discovery. Career Express also offers a unique platform that allows students to make appointments with career advisors, search jobs and sign up for professional development workshops and career fairs. Another helpful resource, is the Office of Internships and Experiential Learning which increases student engagement, retention and transfer through a diverse portfolio of experiential learning opportunities.
