Women’s Herstory Month: New York is Abolition City

March 24 at 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
| Room F-211, Fiterman Hall

Women's Herstory Month 2025

This event centers the experiences of sex workers, formerly incarcerated trans and cis women, and other femmes. Speakers from Black and Pink and Red Canary Song will lead a conversation on abolition, the carceral state, and grassroots organizing, creating space for dialogue and connection. This discussion is essential for our students and challenges us to expand our understanding of abolition.

Featuring guests from Black and Pink and Red Canary Song.

This event is sponsored by the BMCC Women’s Herstory Month 2025 and the Department of Ethnic and Race Studies.
