You are invited to the inaugural Afrikan Heritage Luncheon: Amplifying our Story. Please join us for a powerful celebration of Black history and culture as we close out Afrikan Heritage Month.
Our inaugural Afrikan Heritage Month Luncheon will feature two prominent speakers, Joy Bivins, Director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and Cheryl Wills, an Emmy award-winning journalist and author. The veteran television journalist will share the powerful and inspiring story of her ancestor Sandy Wills, a former slave and Civil War soldier, who served with the United States Colored Troops.
