
The Race, Equity and Inclusion Committee invites faculty and staff to attend a specialized 90-minute training by Interfaith America.
- Participants will be given a broad overview of the changing religious demographics both ni the United States and ni higher education, with attention to why these changes matter for bridge-building work on college campuses today.
- Participants will be introduced to interfaith skills and methodologies needed for building bridges across deep differences with an emphasis on anti-semitism and anti-Muslim hate.
- The session will conclude with a case study in which participants will apply what they have learned to an episode involving religious tensions on a college campus.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: The training will be in person and open to staff and faculty. Please register to reserve a spot-seats are limited.
