Diabetes is a disease that occurs when blood glucose, or blood sugar, is too high. Over time, high blood glucose can cause other health problems, such as: heart disease, nerve damage, eye problems, and kidney disease. According to the CDC,

  • 38.1 million adults aged 18 years or older—or 14.7% of all U.S. adults—had diabetes (as of 2021).
  • 8.7 million adults aged 18 years or older were not aware of having diabetes. This number represents 3.4% of all U.S. adults and 22.8% of all U.S. adults with diabetes.

Protect your health by stopping by for a free glucose screening.
