March 26 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
| Hudson Room (to the left of cafeteria)

Women's Herstory Month 2025

Palo is a syncretic Afro-Dominican dance and music that dates back to the enslavement of Black people in the island of Hispaniola. Palo is still stigmatized although it has survived and it is performed throughout the country.

This event is sponsored by the BMCC Women’s Herstory Month 2025 and the Department of Ethnic and Race Studies.
