The BMCC Community is invited to celebrate LGBTQIA+ graduates and allies at the annual Lavender Graduation and Pride Month Brunch on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Richard Harris Terrace at 199 Chambers St.
The Lavender Graduation ceremony will start at 11 a.m. and Pride Brunch will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Special Guest Speaker: Tiq Milan
Tiq shares his experience as a transgender man and how it shapes his views on masculinity, race, and gender. He travels across North America to discuss healthy masculinity, inclusive leadership, and effective communication. He has spoken at universities like Harvard, Stanford, and Brown about using inclusion as a tool for innovation and provides practical strategies for meaningful interactions.
