The BMCC Counseling Center is collaborating with Exhale to Inhale to bring yoga to BMCC students, free of charge.
These 45-minute, weekly, yoga classes during Spring 2024 will offer time to check-in with your stress levels, connect with your body, and make movement-based choices. Classes will include a brief centering and weekly themes to cultivate a focus throughout practice: Connect, Anchor, Experience, Restore, Empower, Resilience, Intention, Mindfulness, Courage, Curiosity, Self-Acceptance, and Worthiness. Although the curriculum is progressive, you are welcome to join class during any session and still feel supported and reap the benefits of this practice.
Space is limited, so it will be available on a 1st come-1st served basis even with pre-registration. Yoga mats will be provided.
