The Room to Read Club is a student-based organization dedicated to the development of literacy and language arts. Through this club’s activities, members gain increased access to books, allowing them to broaden their knowledge base and build important skills for academic success.
The club provides a supportive environment for students to discuss literature, practice literary analysis, and explore writing in different genres. Club meetings also feature guest authors who can provide an inside look into the creative process behind their work. With an emphasis on cultural diversity, the club encourages its members to examine literature from multiple perspectives. By participating in our reading club, students have the opportunity to build connections with each other and develop practices for lifelong learning.
