Grow with Google HSI Career Readiness Program Speedrun

What is Grow with Google? Grow with Google is a program designed to help individuals and communities build their skills, find jobs, and grow their businesses. Through online courses, workshops, and events. Grow with Google provides free access to the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s digital world.

Career Readiness Speedrun Challenge

Join our October Speedrun and see how quickly you can complete the selected Grow with Google courses designed to help our students develop essential career readiness skills.

Prizes: The first 5 students to complete the Speedrun will receive a Google Chromebook.

Other prizes include a 30-day Unlimited MetroCard, or HydroFlask 24 oz Wide Mouth with Flex Straw Cap Water Bottle, or Moleskine Hard Cover Notebook, or Grow with Google t-shirt and many more.

Eligibility

• Must be a current BMCC student
• Must use a BMCC email address (@stu.bmcc.cuny.edu) to participate in Skillshop 
• Past winners are not eligible for prizes

How to Participate

1. Enroll: Sign up for the Speedrun using your BMCC email address (@stu.bmcc.cuny.edu) on Skillshop. Use this Profile Guide, use your BMCC email address and agree to the “Data Sharing Agreement.”
2. Complete Courses: Finish the designated Grow with Google courses within the month of October.
3. Show us Proof: Once you’ve completed all the courses, show us that you have completed the program via email.
   1. Send us a screenshot, we’ll verify it on the backend.
   2. Your BMCC email address must be registered on Skillshop and agree for your learning process to be recorded or it will not count towards the speedrun challenge.
4. Feedback: Tell us your thoughts about the Grow with Google HSI Career Readiness Program.
5. Claim your Prize: Once we verify everything, stop by our office to pick up your prize (while supplies last).
