Dhani is an AI and cybersecurity executive currently working at Microsoft. With nearly 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, Dhani is a pioneering member of the Security Information and Event Management industry, who helped shape that solution space in its early days. Dhani has held varying roles at startup and Multi-national organizations and is consistently recognized as a result-oriented leader and a problem solver.
Dhani earned an Executive Master of Science in Technology Management from Columbia University, an Executive MBA and BBA in Information Systems from CUNY Baruch. Dhani is a mentor to early and seasoned technology professionals who wish to transition to cybersecurity and is a career coach providing guidance on career decisions, resume revisions, interview preparation, and salary negotiation. Dhani is also a mentor for Read Ahead, a reading-based mentoring program for elementary school students in New York City.

Courses Taught
- This course introduces the fundamentals of information security in the context of computer vulnerabilities/threats and how to safeguard computers and networks. The students will be exposed to the concepts of security planning, security technologies, security organization and the legal and ethical issues associated with implementing computer and network security.
Prerequisite: CSC 110 or CSC 111 or CIS 165 or Departmental Approval
