Jaclyn Durant
Jaclyn Durant is an experienced business leader, educator, and career coach with a strong background in financial services, human resources, and nonprofit management.
With over 20 years in business and management development within the financial services industry, she has served as a Project Lead, specializing in business analysis and process modeling. In addition to her corporate experience, Jaclyn has spent five years as a career and business coach, helping professionals achieve their career goals.
She gained extensive expertise in Human Resources Management while working in financial services, specializing in recruitment, employee relations, and compensation administration, and co-authoring an employee policy and procedures manual. She later expanded and applied this expertise in the nonprofit sector, where, as Chief Operations Officer for over 16 years, she led human resources management and development initiatives, while overseeing fundraising management and grant allocation—ensuring operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
Academic Experience
Jaclyn has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Long Island University and various colleges within the City University of New York (CUNY) system, including Medgar Evers College and Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). Her teaching portfolio includes:

- This course surveys business and industry in the United States with global growth strategy. Emphasis is placed on building Communication and Quantitative skills, including Excel spreadsheets, and an Ethical Foundation. The course introduces students to concepts in Management, Organizational Structure, Human Resources, Marketing, International Business, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Accounting, and Economics, and encourages students to explore career paths. Required of all Business majors.
