I am pleased to announce the appointment of Corey Cush as the new Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), where he will serve in the President’s Cabinet. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Amish Batra for serving as the interim CIO.

His expertise spans application lifecycle management, technology policies, compliance, data center operations, and enterprise application development.

In his most recent role as Chief Technology Officer at Montefiore Information Technology, Mr. Cush led a cloud governance committee for organization-wide cloud strategy architecture and worked to enhance returns on investments through the integration of cutting-edge technologies. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Cush serves in the New York Army National Guard as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) of New York State. His leadership impacts a substantial force comprising 11,000 Army personnel, 6,000 Air Force members, and 3,400 militia.

Mr. Cush is also a dedicated learner, holding an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems from Monroe College.  In May 2024, he is scheduled to graduate from Syracuse University with a Master’s in Information Systems and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Enterprise Technology Leadership.
