We continue to move forward in finding ways to strengthen our enrollment and student retention efforts at BMCC. Working across many units, we resume our collective efforts to find solutions to these challenges. In this spirit, I would like to announce that Sanjay Ramdath will serve as Acting VP of Enrollment Management and oversee the operations of Admissions, Enrollment Services and Financial Aid, effective June 28, 2021.

He will work closely with the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Vice President of Student Affairs to develop and implement programs and services that improve student retention and success. Working closely with the Office of Public Affairs, Ramdath will also develop innovative and effective communication and marketing strategies to attract students to the College.
Prior to joining BMCC, Ramdath served as Executive Director of Enrollment Management at Essex County College in New Jersey. He also worked as the Registrar/Enrollment Director at Bronx Community College/CUNY and as Registrar/Director of Enrollment at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC. Ramdath’s other experience includes serving as Registrar at the Digital Media Arts College in Boca Raton, FL; Registrar/Interim Associate Dean at the Miami International University of Art and Design in Miami; and as a Graduate Admissions Counselor at the Barry University-Graduate Medical Studies in Miami Shores, FL.
