On his video segment “It’s a G Thing,” WPIX channel 11’s chief meteorologist Irv Gikofsky — or as he is popularly known, “Mr. G” — interviews BMCC President Antonio Pérez.
Their conversation takes place in President Pérez’s office on the college’s main campus, and moves from the levity of admiring his collection of antique toys, to the gravity of discussing his days shepherding the BMCC community in the aftermath of September 11, 2001.
