Business Council Leader Kenneth Adams to Keynote CUNY Big Apple Job Fair At Javits Center

Kenneth Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Business Council, the leading New York State business organization representing thousands of small and large businesses, will be keynote speaker at the 22nd annual CUNY Big Apple Job Fair, which will be held on April 23rd from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Javits Center.

Kicking off the University-wide event, Mr. Adams will speak at a breakfast reception welcoming more than 50 private- and public-sector employers who are participating in CUNY’s job fair. He will be joined by CUNY Chancellor Matthew Goldstein, CUNY Trustee Kathleen M. Pesile, Career Service Association of CUNY co-chairs Patricia V. Imbimbo and Rebecca Hoda-Kearse, and Patricia Gray, Coordinator of the CUNY Big Apple Job Fair.

Recruiters looking to fill range of positions

The CUNY Big Apple Job Fair is expected to attract more than 5,000 CUNY graduating students and recent alumni. They hold a wide range of degrees in an array of academic and professional programs, and will meet with public- and private-sector recruiters seeking to hire full- and part-time employees, as well as interns and seasonal employees.

In addition, students will be able to learn about CUNY Graduate and Professional Programs, as well as online degrees offered by the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Representatives will be available to explain courses, degree offerings and financial aid advice.
