BOROUGH OF MANHATTAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRESENTS FREE OPERA, “DON PASQUALE,” ON MAY 18 IN WASHINGTON MARKET PARK

The Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) Downtown Symphony will perform Gaetano Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” on Saturday, May 18, at 3 p.m.
The 10th Annual Opera in the Park features soprano Karla Simmons, tenor Mark Victor Smith, baritone Peter Clark, and others. Douglas Anderson, chairperson of the Music and Art Department, will conduct the orchestra of BMCC students and faculty members.
The concert will take place in Washington Market Park at Greenwich Street and Chambers Street. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the BMCC cafeteria.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
