| Hudson Room (to the left of cafeteria)

Afrikan Heritage Month 2024 banner

This event features panelists and presentations on the rich, national cuisines inspired by African Heritage around the world. There will be an interactive discussion on the history of food in Africa and the African diaspora; and about healthy foods to address the history and concerns of the growing rate of obesity in black and brown communities. The highlight of this event is the Pan-African culinary presentation about the benefits of “soul food.”

See a list of all Afrikan Heritage Month events. Attend 2 or more events for Co-Curricular Transcript credit.
