Student Appeals Process

CUNY has established a university-wide transfer appeals process for undergraduate students who would like to appeal a denial or restriction of transfer credit for courses.  After admission to Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), students will receive their transfer credit evaluation.  Any student with concerns about how courses have been evaluated for transfer credit into BMCC, should meet with an admissions transfer credit evaluator.

Students who wish to appeal to CUNY Office of Academic Affairs after meeting with the transfer appeals office due to a negative determination on their campus appeal, should complete the University Transfer Credit Appeals form and submit the requested support materials to:
