Convocation 2019

The annual Winter Convocation is an opportunity for all BMCC faculty and staff to gather to discuss teaching and learning in support of student success in and out of the classroom.

Winter Convocation will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 199 Chambers Street. All faculty and staff are invited and welcome.

We will begin with an address from Interim President Karrin E. Wilks, and Acting Provost, Erwin Wong, in Theater One.

10:00 a.m. Welcome and Designing for Success Update from Interim President Karrin E. Wilks
10:30 a.m. Panel Discussion on Educating the Whole Student
11:30 a.m. Acting Provost and Senior Vice President Erwin Wong
12:00 p.m. Lunch and Poster Sessions, Randolph Library
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Concurrent Sessions. Presentations and discussions on teaching, learning, and student support, facilitated by BMCC staff and faculty, will continue throughout the day. Check back for more information.
