Catherine Cammilleri earned her BA in Literature as well as her MA in Creative Writing and Rhetoric from CUNY College of Staten Island, with classes heavily concentrated in poetry. She has taught in both the community college and university settings and has also worked as part of a community outreach program geared towards the enhancement of education for foster children. She has taught a variety courses, including Creative Writing Foundations, Composition, Introduction to Literature, Short Story, World Literature, and Creative Writing. She is a seasoned distance learning instructor, certified by both the Digital Learning Department and CUNY Online Program. Catherine has been involved in community writing workshops and has done many local poetry readings. Catherine currently serves on the Writing and Literature Committee, The Supplemental Instruction Advisory Board, and as Deputy Chair of Scheduling.
