Drop-In Hours: Podcasters (and Audio-Curious) Unite!

Join us every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. for Podcast/Audio Recording Booth Drop-In Hours at the BMCC Library!

Wait, what? The BMCC Library has a podcast booth?! 

The Library’s Podcast Booth is a soundproofed, lean recording station equipped with high-quality microphones and open to all BMCC students, staff, and faculty. Whether you’re interested in recording podcasts, class assignments, oral histories, or music projects, the booth is a great space for your audio endeavors.

Join us at weekly Drop-In Hours, hosted by the BMCC Open Knowledge team, where you’ll have the chance to explore the Podcast Booth, brainstorm audio projects, and talk with current podcasters/recorders. No reservation needed! Swing by the library—we’ll be at the tables just inside the entrance—to learn about booth features and some of the audio projects created by BMCC community members.

Need assistance with a potential audio project? Drop-In Hours are not only an opportunity to schedule one-on-one appointments with a librarian or student assistant, but also a space where community members can connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations.
