Jump Start

What makes Jump Start unique?

In one semester, Jump Start allows students to earn college credits, gain proficiency in Math or English, and stay on track to earn their associate degree as quickly as possible.

Our program offers students the opportunity to demonstrate full or partial proficiency in developmental mathematics. Through rigorous coursework, Math Start students increase their understanding of math, prepare for credit-bearing coursework, and strive to meet CUNY’s math proficiency milestone.  Please see the Math Start Program Snapshot for success rates of students who have completed our program.

Spring 2024 Jump Start Information and Registration

Sign-up for a phone or Zoom call to have a member of our team reach out to discuss the program, your eligibility, and class options. Spring classes will begin first week of February 2024.

Information session dates: Wednesdays 4-5 p.m. and Thursdays 1:30–2:30 p.m. (besides week of holiday break)
