Our services are available to all BMCC students, faculty, and staff.
In person services:
- Study space (quiet study and group study) – check our hours!
- Study rooms – make a reservation for a room in the Library or Fiterman Hall
- Access to all collections, including textbooks, leisure reading, and graphic novels/manga
- Computer access, printing, and self serve scanning
- Short term equipment loans, including laptops, tablets, and battery chargers
- Semester loans of Chromebooks and iPads
- In-person research help
- Request books from other CUNY Libraries!
- Make a reservation to use the Podcast booth
Virtual services:
- Databases for finding sources, books, articles, films, and more, for assignments (and maybe for fun!)
- Access to ebooks and articles from anywhere!
- Help via chat and, email, and phone
- Research appointments via Zoom
- Book chapter scanning service – library staff will scan a limited number of chapters and email the files to the requester
- Research guides and video tutorials to help you get started on your research
- Use the Library FAQs to find answers to questions about borrowing materials, library hours, and more!
