Office of Student Affairs Offers Special Assistance Program
The Office of Student Affairs is pleased to inform you that limited funds are available to assist students whose academic progress may be directly impacted by personal emergencies. This fund is set up specifically to help retain students who are on the path to graduation, but may face setbacks outside of the classroom. Faculty and staff are encouraged o refer students to the Office of Student Affairs if he/she feels that a student may be in need of food, transportation assistance, or a short-term loan or grant (for matters excluding tuition payments). If you think that a student may be a good candidate, please refer him/her to the Office of Student Affairs, room S-350, to complete an Emergency Fund Request form. Students will be asked to provide documentation attesting to the validity of their claims, and to speak with a counselor.
