Women's Leadership

The Women's Resource Center offers opportunities for BMCC students to participate in leadership projects.

  • Sister2Sister Peer Mentoring Program
    The mentoring program pairs incoming freshman and transfer students with students who have experience and resources to share.
  • Volunteerism
    Student Volunteers have opportunities to participate in the WRC’s annual activities, including the ACS Breast Cancer Walk, Domestic Violence Walk: A Silent Procession, Poster Making, the Coat Drive, etc.
  • Student Women's Leadership Retreat Conference
    This annual conference and outdoor retreat involves a weekend of community building, leadership training and empowerment activities for women students.
  • Sisterhood Society Club
    The Sisterhood Society Club offers academic and social support for students; club members meet weekly on Wednesdays from 2pm- 4pm in Room N487.
