9/11 Memorial Observances
On Friday, September 11, 2015, BMCC students, faculty and staff are invited to come by the third floor of the Main Campus Building in front of  the Student Affairs office (S-350) to learn more about the events of September 11, 2001. Student Affairs staff will be available to answer questions between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

Research That Holds Water
Professor Kibrewossen Tesfagiorgis and BMCC Student Crystall Mena collaborated on a research project through the National Science Foundation (NSF) program LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation), to analyze a 2013 flood in Uttarakhand, India that had caused over 6,000 fatalities.
