The Testing Office administers three types of Computer Information System (CIS) exams.
The CIS 200 Qualifying Exam is for current BMCC students who want to be exempt from taking CIS 100 and if they pass, they go straight into CIS 200.
The CIS 165 and CIS 345 Challenge Exams are for incoming BMCC students, who have attained certain certifications in eligible programs in high school and/or Continuing Ed and would like to get credit for one of those courses via exam.
