The overarching mission of the Social Justice & Equity Centers is to educate, support, empower, and celebrate Black, lndigienous and Students of Color, women, queer, undocumented, and all historically marginalized students and their allies. We encourage all students to explore their identities, question societal norms and dismantle oppressive structures to create a more just and inclusive campus community and society. We strive to educate and support those with leveraged identities on allyship, power, and privilege to create a sense of belonging, an inclusive campus culture, and a just and equitable BMCC.
