Need help with groceries? Come to the Single Stop office and see if you are eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. We can help you, and your family get more food on the table and keep more money in your pocket.
SNAP is a program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture that provides extra income for food that can be purchased at most supermarkets and grocery stores. Using an online application, the staff at Single Stop can:
- Complete a SNAP Application
- Recertify your SNAP benefits
- Send any documents that have been requested by the Human Resources Administration (HRA) to them directly even if you did not apply at Single Stop.
- Household members who reside with a BMCC student are also eligible to apply at the Single Stop office.
Stop by the Single Stop Office in Room S-230, 199 Chambers St. to see if you qualify and to set up an appointment to complete the online application.
