First Year Experience (FYE)

All incoming, first-time freshmen are expected and encouraged to participate in the Freshman Year Experience workshops offered during the first few weeks of each semester.

In these workshops, students get important information that will orient them to life at the college: academic protocol, college services, time management, and personal finance management. Several workshops are scheduled throughout the semester to build students’ capacities in note-taking, test-taking, and computer skills.
