BMCC Pride Mentoring Network

The BMCC Pride Mentoring Network pairs students with a faculty or staff member at BMCC to who will help students navigate college and provide them with support throughout their time at BMCC. Mentors will also establish a way to maintain accountability of mentees in their goals. Participating students will receive a small stipend for participation throughout the academic year. Mentorship is a great way to get support, feel connected, and reach your goals! Throughout the year, we will host several events for mentors, students, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community to get together to learn, socialize, and celebrate each other.

For questions, please contact Brian Kelley at bkelley@bmcc.cuny.edu or Yuliya Shneyderman at yshneyderman@bmcc.cuny.edu.

The Pride Mentoring Network is made possible due to generous funding from the New York City Council Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual Caucus and the Office of the Mayor, and supported by The LaGuardia and Wagner Archives.
