The outbreak of Covid-19 is a stressful situation that may lead to feelings of anxiety, depression and social isolation.  The situation is changing quickly and may be hard to process.  It is important to take care of your mind as well as your body.  Reducing stress can help your immune system be strong which is vital at this time.  Here are some resources that can help you take care of your mental health during this difficult time.

Resources for Addressing Social Isolation

Social distancing is necessary to help slow the outbreak of COVID-19, but social distance doesn’t mean social isolation.  It is vital that we stay connect in other ways.  Loneliness hurts.  We are wired to connect to others and need relationships to feel happy and secure.  Phone, text, chat, Instagram, Snapchat, FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, QuarantineChat (and so many more) are all great ways to stay in touch with family and friends.  Reach out to check on your people. They need you, and you need them.
