Our mission is to empower and engage the next generation of civic leaders by providing students, faculty and community members with the tools of knowledge and opportunities to actively participate in the democratic process. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of informed and responsible voters, ensuring that every voice is heard and every vote counts. Through education, advocacy and hands-on experiences we aim to inspire a commitment of civic duty and strengthen the foundations of democracy for a better future.

Student ambassadors aim to create a more informed and engaged student body, by increasing awareness and understanding about the electoral process, and encourage all eligible voters at BMCC community to exercise their right to vote. The collective efforts of the program contribute to a more vibrant and participatory democracy. Through a combination of education, outreach and advocacy the program seeks to increase voter awareness and turnout among students, faculty and the wider community.

Dedicated student ambassadors play a pivotal role in driving the program’s mission forward as they are responsible for educating their peers about the importance of voting and the electoral process. To apply for the position of student ambassador, please click here:  “Become a Student Ambassador
