Top of the World: World Trade Center Photographs by Joe Woolhead and Featured Artists
The exhibition Top of the World captures the rebuilding process at the World Trade Center from the devastating attacks of 9/11/2001 to the completion of 4WTC, the first tower to open on the new World Trade Center site. The work illustrates various aspects of the rebuilding project such as the people, terrain, geology, and equipment.
From the early 2000s until present, Joe Woolhead, the lead photographer for Silverstein Properties, has documented the iconic World Trade Center project and from this body of work he has produced an enduring collection of high-quality artwork. Joe’s work highlights not only the complex nature of the construction itself, but also the resilience of the human spirit.
From the fall of the towers in 2001 to the opening of 4WTC, this exhibition aims to capture the compelling story of the building of the new World Trade Center.
