The Shirley Fiterman Art Center is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibitionInternal Logic,an exhibition of recent work by Art faculty from BMCC’sMusic and Art department, along with select faculty contributions from practicing artists in the Art History and Multimedia Arts Programs.
Internal Logic offers an overview of a wide range of contemporary art practices and provides insight into the processes and techniques in use by BMCC’s diverse faculty of artists and designers; mediums on view range from painting and sculpture, to installation art, works on paper, experimental photography, video, and works employing new media. The Art Foundations Program, conferring an AA in Art History and AS in Studio Art, offers concentrations in drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and digital imaging. With numerous courses in media arts, studio art, design, and art history, Art Foundation majors at BMCC receive the fundamental training required for successful transfer to four-year colleges.
