William W. Hurst Law Scholarship

Who Is Eligible:

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or law school in the United States for the Spring and/or Fall of 2018. This includes high school seniors, freshman, sophomores, juniors, college seniors, and law students (L1, L2, L3). Applicants must also comply with all requirements set forth in the “Essay Submission Procedure” section below.


Requirements:

To participate in the contest, applicants should write a 600-word essay answering the following question:

“Accidents can have devastating effects on those involved and their loved ones. Describe how an accident has impacted your life, what you did to overcome its impacts, and what changes you made to make sure a similar accident didn’t occur in the future.”

How to apply:

DEADLINES: 

*** Applications for the fall must be submitted by July 31st in order to be considered. The recipient will be notified no later than August 10th of the application year.


*** Applications for the spring must be submitted by December 20th to be considered. The recipient will be notified no later than January 5th of the application year.
