Kaplan Leadership Program

Who Is Eligible:

Enrollment in an accredited associate's degree program in the NYC area.
Completion of 24 - 30 non-remedial college credits by the application deadline.
U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Current recipient of federal and/or state financial aid.
Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Be Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American.
Desire to transfer to a bachelor's program immediately upon completion of an associate's degree.



Requirements:

 

  1. Completed application including personal statement and short answer essays
  2. 2 Letters of Reference: 1 Academic and 1 Professional
  3. Unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended
  4. Official transcripts from all high schools attended or a copy of GED scores
  5. Record of employment or internship history
  6. Student Aid Report (SAR) for the current academic year
  7. Award letter from your college for the current academic year

 


Deadline: 06/13/2019 Based on Last Year's Deadline.
Amount: Up to $3,000 per yr. (Associate's Degree); Up to $20,000 per yr. (Bachelor's Degree)
