Message from the Interim President to Faculty, Staff and Students (03/22/20)

Dear BMCC Community,

I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and doing the best you can in these challenging times. Please follow instructions to stay home as much as possible and to maintain social distancing.

BMCC started delivering all instruction and support services from a distance last week. As that continues throughout the spring semester, and given the Governor’s Executive Order, access to our campus will be extremely limited. Effective Monday, March 23, all of Fiterman Hall and all of our floors in the Murray Building will be closed; no access to any of these facilities will be granted. Access to 199 Chambers St. will be extremely limited and approved only for critical functions.

We recognize that these changes may present some additional challenges. We greatly appreciate your support and cooperation as we safeguard our community; all faculty and nearly 100% of staff are working from home now. Thanks to all for your patience, creativity and flexibility as we journey through unchartered territory. The health and well-being of our BMCC community is our highest priority. Please take good care of yourselves, your families and those around you.
