Evening/Weekend Program

Borough of Manhattan Community College has established an evening/weekend Associate Degree in Nursing Program for part-time students. The BMCC program is designed to be completed by the part-time student in three years and will articulate completely with the RN/Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Program at Medgar Evers College.

This program is intended to fulfill goals and aspirations of a large segment of New York City residents who have been denied access into nursing degree programs in the City University due to financial and/or family obligations that require them to engage in full-time employment during the day hours.

All students in the Evening/Weekend Nursing Program must complete the four required pre-requisite courses plus BIO 426, BIO 420, and PSY 240 or SOC 100 before beginning the Nursing Program.

Early Academic Advisement for Evening /Weekend Students

Evening/Weekend students who are taking classes on Saturday and want to be advised and/ or apply for the Evening/Weekend Nursing Program can come to the Nursing Department on Saturday between 10 AM and 5PM to make an appointment to see the Academic Advisor from Monday to Thursday between 4PM and 6PM.

These are the only days and times you will have the opportunity to meet with the Academic Advisor to be advised for classes and/or apply for entry to the Evening/Weekend Nursing Program.
