The Gruffalo: Live On Stageat BMCC Tribeca PAC

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center (BMCC TPAC), the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan—and located on the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY) campus at 199 Chambers Street—proudly presents the final event in the 2017-2018 Family Series Season: The Gruffalo: Live On Stage on Sunday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. 

The Gruffalo is part of BMCC TPAC’s 2017-2018 Family Theater Season, featuring plays, musicals, puppetry, concerts and dance for all ages.  

Presented by Tall Stories and based on the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, this musical adapatation features the popular character Mouse, who goes on a daring adventure through the forest in search of hazelnuts.

Along the way, he meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric Owl and the party-mad Snake—begging the question, will the Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures?

Children ages three and up enjoy songs, laughs and scary fun in this much-loved show that has toured Great Britain and the world.
